If guests enjoy wine and are interested in oenology, they can visit the local vineyards, attend courses about the grape varieties and production held at the resort cellar, participate in guided wine tasting sessions of regional and local wines and learn the principles of biodynamic winemaking, and make their own personalized wine
Guests can stargaze the Dark Sky, discover the region’s rich gastronomy, enjoy a birds-eye view of the undulating plains as they glide over Alentejo at sunrise or sunset during a hot-air balloon ride, or enjoy a visit the most interesting cultural sites of Évora, the regional capital, layered with history and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and other cities in Alentejo under the expert guidance of a historian.

Cultures around the world have relied for centuries upon a ritual flower bath as an especially potent cleansing and nourishing tradition. It was believed that you receive the healing energies of the plants, which can help you cleanse unwanted energies, find a sense of calm and grounding, and realign with what’s most important to you so you can more easily let go of the rest.
To improve your Vinotherapie bath experience, indulge yourself by our candle fragrance in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We will fill the bathtub with L’AND dried flowers and bath salts, and will offer exfoliating grape seeds and oil to help with body care.
Our floral and grape oil bath is bookable upon request and will be ready at the pre-reserved time, in the guest’s Suite or Villa.

The hotel’s wicker hampers have everything guests need for a classy afternoon too: a soft blanket, proper plates, smart cutlery with wooden handles, and delicate nibbles. The spread includes a regional charcuterie and cheese platter, a bitesize signature dish, finger sandwiches (smoked salmon, ham, and cheese). Be sure to try the delicious homemade crisps – and a mini bottle of L’AND Wine. Dessert is a generous and unmissable selection of L’ANDs sweet delicacies.

HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE
Guests can discover the Alentejo from above and catch the sunrise or sunset as they take in the rolling hills and vineyards while soaring in their hot air balloon above the valley.
L’AND offers guests a one-hour flight, departing from L’AND Vineyards Resort.
Remarks: This activity must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Since the flight depends on weather conditions, the confirmation will be made until 12 hours before the flight.
Cancellations by the guest must be made until 48 hours before the balloon flight, in order to avoid cancellation fees.

Night’s skies in Alentejo are simply bursting with stars and minimal light pollution make for a rather spectacular show.
We propose that you stop and contemplate the stars under the starry sky of Alentejo.
Right in the middle of Alentejo, there is a protected area which is internationally certified as a Dark Sky Reserve, or "Starlight Tourism Destination", which extends over an area of about 10.000 square kilometres.
Whether you’re an established astral enthusiast or a nebula newbie, with a powerful telescope and professional guidance on hand, the sky’s the limit. Guests can join a team of stargazing experts/astronomers to spend a different evening watching the wonders the sky has to show.

In its day, the castle in Montemor-o-Novo was an impressive citadel perched on a hill. Today, the journey to the past begins with the entrance from Port Vila, guarded by the lofty clock tower, and continues through the old streets where guests can admire the remains of a medieval village.
